students enjoyed a weekend of Vegas fun with the recent Black Light Dance and
night as a whole was absolutely fantastic as always and the live music was
really good and a lot of fun,” said Anastasia Kolousek, a biology major from
festivities kicked off Friday night with Richards Gym decked out to resemble a
Las Vegas club, complete with pounding bass and black lights. More than 350
students danced the night away.
Saturday night, students dressed in their best enjoyed a fun-filled night of
playing casino games such as craps, roulette, blackjack and poker. Students
played bingo in the student center and mock ceremonies were performed at an
Elvis-themed wedding chapel. A live student band an auction, photo booth and
hypnotist completed the Vegas experience.
Funk , a senior psychology major and Krannert Center Activities Board (KCAB)
president said this year’s changes to Casino Night helped make it a great
