everywhere and about everything because economics is a powerful lens for
understanding human decision making. Economics has been applied to issues
as diverse as crime, global warming, and the wealth and poverty of nations. With
course offerings such as sports economics, health economics, development
economics, and environmental economics in addition to the core areas of
microeconomics and macroeconomics, our curriculum reflects the breadth of
Berry’s economics faculty members are committed teachers and
scholars, bridging the liberal arts and business curricula. Courses in
economics develop critical thinking, communication, and data analysis skills,
thereby providing excellent preparation for jobs or postgraduate study.
