Berry College Class of 1993C Reunion
Mountain Day, October 3-4, 2008
It has been 15 years since we left Berry College as graduates, diplomas in hand, and our reunion is approaching quickly. As our committee has gathered, renewed old friendships, and shared our stories, we all have remembered fondly the opportunities we had to play at Berry. Mountain Day Olympics, Hermann 500, mud-wrestling, air-band, MRQ, retreats and conferences, shooting WBCS videos, campus skates, dances and formals, sporting events, SGA, and hall socials – these are just a few of the ways we played and had fun together at Berry.
On Mountain Day, October 4, you are invited back to play! Although we have had 15 years of “growing up”– marriages, babies, jobs, travels, and more – Berryland is the place where our dreams really began. We have a great weekend of events lined up for you, and we want to invite you to come and play with us. See our reunion schedule at glance to see where your friends and classmates will be!
Friday, Oct. 3

7 p.m. until....also one of our own, Renee Mixon will be on hand to perform! - Mountain Day Talent Show

$3 admission
Saturday, Oct. 4
- Mountain Day 5K and 2 Mile Health Walk
8 a.m., Richards Gym - Mountain Day Chapel Service
10 a.m., College Chapel - Mountain Day Picnic
11 a.m.-1 p.m., WinShape Pavilion - Grand March
1 p.m. - Family Fun on the Mountain
1:30-3:30 p.m. Free sno cones, beach balls, inflatables, and live Blue Grass music for all to enjoy! - Reunion Reception
5 p.m. Oak Hill Back Yard
Dr. Briggs will be on hand to meet and greet alumni - REUNION!
6 p.m., Oak Hill Terrace
$20 per adult, $8 per child under 12
Our Class Reunion Gift
We also hope you will thoughtfully consider our financial request from earlier in the summer. Headed up by Brian Carmony and Bonnie Buckner Reavis, our class reunion gift is a tribute to Jeff Wingo. We are hoping to endow a scholarship in Jeff’s name. Of course, you are free to give to any scholarship or another Berry project that is near and dear to you. The important thing is that our class has a high percentage of participation in our donations as this favorably affects Berry’s ability to raise money from outside the college ranks.
