Important Financial Aid Notes

Apply Early
To receive full consideration for all grants, loans, scholarships and work, applicants are encouraged to submit all financial aid forms to the Office of Financial Aid by April 1. Applications received after April 1 will be considered based on availability of funds. This includes all Berry College scholarships and grants. When filing the FAFSA, use Berry's title IV code 001554.

Avoid Using Estimates
To prevent a delay in processing your financial aid, we encourage you to use actual (not estimated) tax return information. You can complete your tax return (without filing with the IRS) and use that information to complete the FAFSA. You can file your taxes with the IRS any time you choose.

Keep Copies
Retain copies of all materials you submit for your records.

Use your correct Social Security Number
Be sure to enter your correct social security number. Using the wrong social security number can delay your financial aid award.
