Horses for Sale

Berry College has a small breeding program consisting of eight Quarter Horse broodmares and one stallion. Our mares are predominately reining and cutting bred, with names such as Peppy San Badger, Doc Bar, King Fritz, Haidas Little Prep and Colonel Freckles in their pedigrees. Through the generous donations of several stallion owners, we have been able to breed the mares to some top quality stallions. The foals produced are sold to support the equine program.

All of our horses get extensive ground work and handling, and therefore tend to be well-mannered. The young horses are gentled and educated under saddle, when old enough, by our students under the supervision of our barn manager and trainer. We typically have young horses , from weanlings to four year olds, for sale.

We often have older horses for sale as well. These horses were used for the equestrian team or as camp/trail horses. Below is a list of the current horses offered for sale.
