English, Rhetoric and Writing

About the Major
Interested in reading and creative writing? Ever wonder, "Why does Dr. Frankenstein create that crazy monster?" Well, you've come to the right place. While majoring in English, you will be engaged in reading, analyzing, writing about and discussing a wide range of texts written in English or available in English translation. You'll complete a 21-credit core curriculum and one of three 18-hour concentrations: Literature, Writing, or Secondary Education. To find out more about course requirements, click here.
