| Rebecca Phillips is a sophomore English major and Honors student from Hiram, GA. She is looking forward to working with Dr. Dasher in the English Department. Her first year at Berry was an amazing experience of forming special friendships, taking challenging and stimulating courses, and coming to love Berry as a home away from home. Rebecca is the president of Lambda Sigma, the sophomore honor society, and is involved in the Honors Student Union. She is also involved in her church by singing in the choir, participating in the college ministry, and works at her church camp during the summer. Rebecca is looking forward to showing her freshmen all the wonderful things about Berry and Rome and helping them enjoy their first year at Berry College. She wants new students to know that college is a lot of hard work, as well as a lot of fun. But most of all, it is a time to live purposefully and discover yourself and your dreams.
